Hey, I recently bought one of the older q tron models, the big ones that come with a wooden box. I have been messing with it and had some issues. First the overload light will blink on and off rapidly at almost all times, at any setting, with nothing plugged in even. Also sometimes when the envelope kicks on the volume spikes really loudly and then just phases out. Any Idea what the issue could be? I opened the unit up and looked around, and everything looked okay, but admittedly I am no expert in these things.

The overload light means nothing. Don't worry about it. As for the volume spikes, that's the tricky part. Some people can't make peace with the Qtron. What I did was turn on the boost and then lower the gain. It's very touchy responsive, a compressor downstream can help.
