I've been in a rut lately just not feeling anything I even stopped playing my beloved Beatles looking through some songs and found this lovely Funkadelic - Cholly (Funk Getting Ready To Roll!) the last thirty seconds of this song are priceless this song had me up and dancing in my pajamas (old people still wear them) consider my rut busted and Starrchild where you at??????

These are the three bassist listed on the album.

Bootsy Collins, Cordell 'Boogie' Mosson and Rodney "Skeet" Curtis.

It has to be Cordell or Rodney I don't feel Bootsy in that song.

I think you just have to go by style and give your best guess. We'll probably never know exactly who played on a lot of P-Funk tracks.

Really cool, mjac! When Bootsy performed on Night Music, the band quoted part of this song, http://m.youtube.com/watch?v=rIHrdLwa_y8 Now I know where it came from. Thank you!
ahc, I'm guessing it's Bootsy on bass as he's listed as one of the songwriters of that tune.
"Cholly (Funk Getting Ready To Roll!)" Clinton, Morrison, Collins 4:27

I don't know. Listen to "Uncle Jam" - which is Bootsy playing (not 100% sure, though):

Sounds like the same player on "Cholly" to me. I'm feeling Bootsy in it.
