Has anyone tried jamming online? Is the tech there? Assuming a good connection to the internet and a decent computer, and, of course, like-minded folks to jam with, are there still too many headache's, glitches, hiccups, and latency to make it work, or is it ready?

I heard once about this vst plugin called VSTunnel, that supposedly allows you to play along other people. But I never tried it.
This ways some years ago, maybe now it's working fine.

One time I played a tune over skype with a singer whos in Spain. Surprisingly, I didn't really noticed any latency issues, so its definitely possible as long as your equipment is solid.

My brother and I worked on a program to allow you to do this years ago when there wasn't enough bandwidth to make it happen. I have tried skype and it varies. Sometimes it is OK, most time the latency is way too much.
