Korina. Tung Oil. fingernail catches the grain every once in awhile.

Thinking this black PG makes the black grain in the Korina "pop".

    Better with or without PG?

(ignore the reflection of the lamp in the PG)

I dig the pickguard - I have moved to using taped guards so I can always change my mind.

Considered that actually, I thought black with all black hardware would tie everything in more. But thanks for piping in!

For me - no pickguard. I just think a jazz pickguard looks wrong without a control plate.

With maple, I think the guard looks better.

With rosewood, I could go either way.

    Regardless, beautiful instrument.

I like the pickguard, but it would need a control plate as well.

Pickguard with control plate - yes, pickguard with no plate - no.

No control plate = No pickguard

    Control plate = Pickguard.

Not a fan of pickguards, especially un-needed ones, and that body is definitely in the 'doesn't need one' category.

    For me anyway...

No absolutely not should you put that or any pickguard on there. It looks like, nevermind....how about just no!

(I was going to say the Lone Rangers mask)

Well; with tape, you can add or subtract at will. so.

    I'd vote no.

    Add a poll ;)
