Just wanted to get opinions if these gauges are a good balanced for BDGCF on my 5 string. 138/105/78/58/44 and for the D thats the only one I still am debating a 105 or 110.

Are you planning on putting together a custom set of strings? Never seen stock strings in those gauges.

The fact am a BAMF. No seriously now, the string set I use is 145/107/80/60/45(if you want to go back to Standard). if all else fails go to Bassstringsonline.come or go to Ciriekstrings. Also Talk to Slapinfunk he can give you a discout because he's the owner. Never mind what I said then if you want BDGCF....beacuse I don't know.

Interesting . . . you average 34 pounds on all strings except the low B. If you go with a .125 you'll be almost perfectly balanced as a set.
