    Hi guys,

I would live some help with this one.

This song has been driving me crazy for a while now:

    http://opossom.bandcamp.com

It's the last track on the album and it's called "inhaler song".

At 2:02 the song rumbles into another dimension of sound.

I need to know how they do it.

Any help on this one would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks,

    dwashford

Sounds like one of those happy accidents you find when experimenting. It definitely involves a lot of gain, feedback, and distortion. Also plenty of reverb and likely some sort of tremolo or step sequencer. It would be very hard to determine exactly how they arrived at that unless you had a way of asking. A feedback looper, like Onoho's Utter Stutter can get you to places like that, all depending on what's feeding the loop. Try contacting the band.
