    SOLD

This is a lightweight (3.8 lbs) natural ash body from an unknown MIJ bass. It is P-bass shaped, has a neck pocket that fits a square-heeled neck, drilled for standard Fender compatible holes, has a neck plate that says "Made In Japan", strap buttons. It is routed to fit a 50's style P pickup or some small humbucker or Firebird type pickup. Dinged up a bit, but could be refinished nicely. Good body for a science project ;)

    $35 shipped in the CONUS

    Paypal accepted, no trades please.

Have you ever built a bass out of this? If so, will the bridge line up correctly with a Fender neck so that the strings line up correctly?

Yes, Fender neck and bridge will line up, but you have to use a neck with a straight-edged heel, like a tele-style. I had a bass together with this body which worked fine.
