Anyone know if one exists? Wanting one sounding similar to a Seymour Duncan SPB2 but need it in a Jazz Bass housing. What's closest to give me that P-bass thump please?

I don't want a standard Jazz Bass pickup 'cos it can get quite close' nor am I able to fit (in this situation) a P-bass pickup 'cos if you want P-bass thump, you need to get yourself a P-bass pickup'. :D:p:D

    Thanks in advance! :)

Something in an overwound split-coil is the closest you can get. And you'll probably have to go custom.
  3. Try looking for a one pole per string single bobbin pickup, like the original P bass pickup.
