Whenever I strum on my bass, it shoots a really annoying pain from the tip of my finger to the last knuckle. It only really affects my middle finger and ring finger, even though I never strum with my ring finger. When I strum with my index finger, a little bit of pain shoots through them, but not even close to the amount when strumming with my middle finger. It hurts pretty bad, but I still play with it. I was just wondering if it might lead to something serious or something like that. I'm not a novice bass player, but in the last few months I've been going at it hard except last week on spring break when I wasn't allowed to bring it. It started hurting near the end of spring break, but I have no idea what could have caused it or how long it'll last. Has anyone had any experience with something like this?
