    Good day!

I'm in the market for a passive 5 string I can use for funk, hip-hop, jazz and everything in-between. A p-j setup is preferred. It will most likely be used in a studio situation 90 percent of the time. I'd like to stay under 1200 if possible.

I'm really liking the Reverend Mercalli 5, but I won't get to try one as no local dealers carry them, and I'm pretty pressed to find a thorough review on the web. Any thoughts, input or suggestions on this bass or others?

    Thanks,

    Sam

Yamaha BB series. BB425x and save some money, or order a BB1025 if you like.
