I hit a local pawnshop, they had a few basses. They had a Gretsch (sp) 3/4 i think and check out a Sledgehammer. Couldnt find any info online about it, it was made Korea but I decided not get it most of the hardware had oxidation on it, so I figured it was in a flood or damp basement for sometime. I grabbed a Slivertone P bass for 60 bucks. Cleaned it up threw on my Fender strings I replaced from my Squier JB, set it up, it sounds pretty good. Now I have a modding platform.

And it seems to not hurt my fretting hand to much

Dont know much about silvertone and I assumes from the 90s
