    Do a Google search for; peavey alpha preamp and the first item is the pdf manual and info. I can't get that link to post here

    Yeah I did not look close enough, however it has four tube stages two anodes per tube.
    I just glanced at the block diagram and the circuit has four independent tube sections.
    We used a lot of these tubes in single tripod RF radio application it was a hot environment and we were leaning on them and needed the plate dissipation. They were a couple of bucks each back then.
    Peavey saved some money by using two of these tubes for this application and it works well for this unit.
    So yes two tubes.
