Peavey Axcelerator Questions

    The Axcelerator is a superbly made, great sounding, great playing bass. Light weight, 18v electronics, quality components. $399 is a tad high. You can find them for $300 or less quite often. Though I would note that you can't buy a new bass of that quality for anywhere near $400.

    Does it sound like anything comparable? Jazz P Ray etc

    The sound is bright and aggressive. Nothing like a P or J. You can get a Ray tone, but I wouldn't say it sounded like a Ray.
