Peavey BXP AC 5 vs. Squier Vintage Modified Jazz Bass V

Discussion in 'Basses [BG]' started by fredolee16, Nov 1, 2013.

  1. Hi. I want a cheap but good 5 strings. I have this two in the top of my list. It's obvious that I will make the final choice but any advice of guys like you that use one of both of these two basses will help me a lot. Witch one is the most versatile, comfortable neck, and best for almost any kind of music. I play at church but we play latin, gospel, balads, rock,, almost every kind of music. Thanks

I needed a decent, cheap, Jazz-bodied 5-string with 18mm-19mm string spacing, which I know is a more constrained than your request. But I can say that the Squier VM Jazz V was clearly the best price/performance in that category. They just tend to be a bit heavy.
  3. Well, that could be a problem for me because I have back problems.
  4. anybody that play both basses?
