How does it compare with regular Jazz Bass?

My friend offered me it for my Squier CV P + some cash.

    Tnx.

Depends on what model Zodiac. The standard Zodiac and the Zodiac EX are fair instruments. Nothing special. I wouldn't trade a CV Squier straight up for one of those, never mind a CV plus cash.

On the other hand, the Zodiac DE Scorpio is a better bass than any Squier built in the last 20 years. Sounds more like a hot Pbass than a Jazz. If you're looking for a Jazz tone, the Scorpio line isn't for you.

Smcd nailed this one, I'd keep what I have if I were you.
