    Hello everyone,
I have lurked on talkbass for a long time and I have learned so much from you all, thank you so much. Now I have joined I have a request please if I may?
I need a copy of the the piano part for the Ellington/Blanton duet Pitter Panther Patter as I would like to perform it with my piano partner. I know I should transcribe it but I don't have the time, would anyone have a transcription or be able to direct me to one please?

    Thank you all in advance,

    PJ.

Yeah, I'm interested in it too but looked around and don't seem to see anything anywhere. Might have to transcribe it yourself.

Think you might be right hdiddy, although it must be out there somewhere, there are posts on youtube of folks playing it.

I have a copy somewhere, that my Pianist Transcribed, I will have to ask permission before I can make copies of it, but it is pretty accurate to the original.

He said he would send me a pdf of it. He said it is by no means 100 percent perfect, and it is based off the Blanton and the Ray Brown versions, but it is solidly in the ball park. Will let you know when it hits my Inbox.

Just listened to The Great (John) Goldsby's recording of it and it's not hard. I'm just going to transcribe it myself as an exercise and learn to do something on piano.
