    Usually means the bass feel comfortable to play based on the neck thickness, string height and balance of the instrument. "Butter" is a highly subjective term - it will not "play like butter" for everyone.

    It means the bass is unplayable for me. If it doesn't fight back a little bit, I want no part of it.

    I hate low action. Benefits? I can play my basses and not a single bass player has ever asked to borrow one of my axes.

    Greasy, no discernible sound, melts under stage lights. I don't know why people think this is a positive thing.
