Polishing Silverfaces

    Are the graphics on Silverface Fenders faceplates very fragile? I'd like to remove some of the scratches but concerned about what looks to be just an uncoated silkscreen. I'm guessing its best to just clean it up and let it go at that. But never hurts to ask.

    Yes; clean with soap and water; removing scratches will alter the overall finish in a big way.
