Poplar Bodies from GFS

    IME, I prefer paulownia to poplar/tulipwood for weight reasons.

    I've never bought any of their bodies(not that I wouldn't, just never needed one), but I have bought two of their maple bass necks and they were fine. The only thing some people may nut like is the width at the nut, but that measurement is listed on their site.

    I'm not crazy about poplar for bodies. Just too soft IMO.

    I have a poplar tele guitar body from them. It is cleanly routed but required a bit of sanding. Poplar is a good "tone wood" and the lower weight is nice.
