You can almost hear Barry White music playing.
Mama bear on the right : " Why must you fart "Peer Gynt " every sunrise ?
Papa bear on the left , appealingly :" You know that's my thing baby."

Pale Blue Dot is my favorite photograph of all time. Gives me shivers every time I see it.

    Nice photo.
Did you keep your lunch down? I flew in Extra a few years back
and felt dizzy the rest of the day.

I was fine. Two fast rolls, a loop, hammerhead, reverse Cuban eight, loop with an inverted snap on top. Big fun.

I took this one a couple years ago, venus transiting the sun with some sunspots visible...

Hah, nope. Just put an old Olympus 350 digital camera on a decent mid level consumer telescope. I did have to make a sun filter for the telescope and fiddle with focus, that was about it. There's an attachment for the telescope viewfinder where I can just slip the camera on and off easily.

Here's what the "rig" looked like, with my helper...

I've always loved this one. But if the flat earth society and moon landing deniers are right, than this is a bunch of hooey.

What's 'amazing' is that one day going to the moon will be like going down the street. People in the future will laugh at us for thinking that a picture of Earth taken from the moon is 'amazing'.

Here is another great shot of mother Earth from space. Also notice the nasty low pressure area where they are now searching for flight 370 1500 mile South West of Aussie land.

I looked it up in wikipedia and it shows the photo as a vertical rather than a horizontal. I like the horizontal better. It's funny to think that neither is technically correct as there is no up or down in space and I suppose there's no horizon in this case to either.

EDIT: I just showed this pic to my mother and she said, "Wow!!! We're nothing!" I said, "We're not nothing. We're just small from far away."
