Post your Jazzes with dots & binding!

Discussion in 'Basses [BG]' started by BassAgent, Jan 17, 2012.

  1. IMHO, dots & binding is the best combination possible on a Jazz Bass... So: let's honor those beauties!

    Here's mine, a Fender Jazz from 1966. Except from 3 screws and the finish, it's 100% original:hyper:

My 1978, albeit not the greatest picture. Even a little binding on the shoes. :)

Where on earth did you get the jazzmaster? That could be the best looking bass I've ever seen

I really wish Allparts would offer dots/binding, both maple and rosewood boards.

Warmoth does, but only in a 21 fret version.

I agree with the OP - that combination is my favorite too.
  8. :) he made it. There's a build thread on it somewhere. A real nice bass.

Am I the only guy that considers some non-Fenders to qualify as a Jazz bass with binding?

The '66 transition neck is by far one of my favorite looks on a Jazz. Nicely done guys!

You look like Eli Manning in this pic. But judging by your singers, I'm not sure if even Eli's gig is as enjoyable as yours... :D
