    IMHO, dots & binding is the best combination possible on a Jazz Bass... So: let's honor those beauties!

    Here's mine, a Fender Jazz from 1966. Except from 3 screws and the finish, it's 100% original:hyper:

    My 1978, albeit not the greatest picture. Even a little binding on the shoes. :)

    Where on earth did you get the jazzmaster? That could be the best looking bass I've ever seen

    I really wish Allparts would offer dots/binding, both maple and rosewood boards.

    Warmoth does, but only in a 21 fret version.

    I agree with the OP - that combination is my favorite too.

    Am I the only guy that considers some non-Fenders to qualify as a Jazz bass with binding?

    The '66 transition neck is by far one of my favorite looks on a Jazz. Nicely done guys!

    You look like Eli Manning in this pic. But judging by your singers, I'm not sure if even Eli's gig is as enjoyable as yours... :D
