Looking at prewired passive controls for my deluxe p. The harness im looking at has 250k pots. I know those are usually used on j pups but how will they work on p and humbucker? Im ok with it cuttin the highs a bit but will it be too much? Am i better of with 500k?

250k is traditional for P pickups. 500k tends to be more popular with various non-split, dual coil pickups.

It doesn't make that much difference. Get whatever you think you will like.
