Hey there. I recently got the pickups for the bass I'm building, P bass style, and was trying to figure out if there was a specific way there supposed to be offset. I know the two parts of the pickup aren't in line with each other, but rather set off to either side, but how much do I off set?

Get a template and you ideally want them so all four strings are equally covered by the pole pieces or close enough.

A standard P-Bass pickguard can be used as a template.
