Anyone here do any prepared guitar/bass or solo soundscape stuff? I've tried some and am thinking about getting further into it.

If you experiment with prepared guitar or soundscape ambient stuff what is your setup? What types of instruments do you use?

I used to do a lot of this sort of thing. Basically use plenty of delay and reverb, and all of your plinky and scrapey noises will sound awesome.

Just type "prepared guitar" into YouTube. Keith Rowe and Fred Firth are a few names worth checking out. Not everyone's cup of tea but very interesting.
