Hey guys, the other day at practice I noticed that when I play at a loud volume theres a crackle in a speaker. I noticed it the most when I have the EQ on on my amp. I know its not the amp because it doesn't do this through other cabs. I was hoping somebody here might know what the problem could be.

    Thanks!

    Tweeter hopefully. Reconing costs more.

+1. Yep, hopefully its just a damaged tweeter - woofer replacement/reconing cost more.

Take the tweeter out if it doesn't have a volume knob for the tweet and unhook it. It if still crackles it might need a recone. Before you take the tweeter out look at your speakers and serif there re any cracks. If they are small the. You can get some upholstery glue and it might help a little.
