and clicked on it and it came up $81.59. Maybe other routes get you other pricing.

Can someone please tell me the interior length of this bag? The website says 46.5" which I hope is a typo. If that's true, not many jazz basses will fit. My bass is 47" from tip to tip. Thanks in advance.

I've seen talk on here before about some jazzes not fitting in the Contego. My bag won't be here til Thursday but I'll measure then if needed.

I have a Contego already and ordered another on this deal. I've used my current one with a variety of "normal" lengh jazzes -- e.g., Fender, Lull, Lakland -- and never had a problem. I suppose there may be some jazzes that would not fit.

I don't want to go through the hassle of returning if it doesn't fit which, if it really is on 46.5" I'm positive my bass won't fit. Why did they pick such a small length if that's that case? Most 35" scale basses won't work with this case.

    Tewest86,

My Modulus' (Quantum and my old Genesis, both 35" scale) fit in there fine. I will try to remember to measure when I get home.

When you say fit, do you have the force the headstock in? For example, the Reunion Blues Aero was to small for my 5 String Marco Jazz bass. The bass is a 34.5" scale bass. The Aero has interior dimensions of 47". I have to stretch and force my bass in that bass. It felt very unsafe.
