    you can't go wrong with either. if you want thicker top and bottom end thump i'd suggest pyramid. if you like lower tension, livelier E string, and a touch more sustain go TIs.

    TI's, could never warm up to Pyramids.

    Both are good for this purpose, but i prefer pyramid.
