I have a fender rumble 350 head. I would like to get the new fender rumble v3 500w 2x10 amp. It says though that its a 600w program(300w continuous). Does this mean the 350 head will be too much for the amp? Or am I a paranoid?

If your looking for more headroom your going to be limited with a 210 cab.

Ya, there's only so much you can do with 2x10. They aren't putting Fearless 10's in those.

If by 600W amp you mean 600W speaker cabinet yes you can kill it with your amplifier. I use the 2x10 but always a pair in a vertical stack. As our friend from the land of the Kiwi opines, a single 2x10 does not a gig-able amp make.

Actually my mistake again haha it's a 1X15. NOT a 2X10 if it makes a difference? Or am I more safe purchasing the 1000w 4X10?

Do you mean cabinet? An amplifier is the part you plug your bass into, it then amplifies the signal from your bass to a powerful signal which can move the speakers in a speaker cabinet. The wattage rating is the thermal limits, you could still push the speaker cabinet too far if you crank the bass too high at max volume and smack the bass about.

Remember that a 300 watt amplifier isn't going to be putting out 300 watts all the time, if it was it would sound horrible. You'd be fine, just be sensible and if you hear the speakers complaining, you know you're going too far.

If you are going to play rock music with drums, get the 410.
