    Hi folks

I have a lefty MIJ RI 62 jazz, born in 1996. It has the silver 50th anniversary sticker on the back of the headstock, and the serial number near the seat of the neck, in silver lettering under the finish.

Serial number dates it correctly as a 96 model. Haven't taken the neck off to check the pocket, but everything else looks true.

Only thing is that the decal on the headstock is "fender" logo. Nothing else. No "Jazz bass" no serial number, no made in etc.
Was this normal for this model?
    Can take pics if needed.
