    Hello everyone,

I am sad to report that our fellow bassist and TBer Oddio passed away last month. He had been in the hospital for most of last year battling lung cancer. Great guy who played in a fine local Little Feat tribute band called Feat First. Check out their web site here: http://www.featfirst.com/ You can also leave a message of condolence.

I remember fondly going to his house on several occasions to check out his amazing selection of high end gear, which included multiple Dingwalls, Wals, and Warwicks. A bass player's wet dream! Always a fun hang and something to look forward to which sadly will never happen again.

    Damn.

We had a lot of common gear tastes and interests and had a few interesting chats about our gear over the years. Nice guy.

    This is really sad news.

My condolences as well. Andrew was a great asset to Talkbass and the bass community. He had such great gear reviews as well. I enjoyed many conversations with him about the monster Trace Elliot V8.

I was lucky enough to meet him and he was as nice in person as he was online, and a great source of info on gear. I was also lucky enough to score a Warwick Infinity from him (in a trade for my Dingwall). The Warwick is a definite keeper and I started him on the path to more Dingwalls!
