Recommend a battery-powered amp...

Discussion in 'Amps and Cabs [BG]' started by noetical1, Jan 4, 2014.

  1. I am looking to get a battery-powered amplifier to play outdoor "coffee shop" and "storefront" sessions. I currently have one of the Roland MicroCube Guitar amplifiers, and I really like how it performs outdoors with the Jazzmaster guitar. Anyone out there have experience with battery-powered bass amps? Should I look into Roland MicroCube (for bass) or something else???

The instruments I'd like to amplify would be a Fender 1951 RI Precision and an Ergo EUB. I'd be playing with a guitarist who would also have some sort of battery powered amp setup.

thanks for any suggestions or advice you can offer!

    Phil Jones Briefcase.
  3. The Phil Jones briefcase looks super-awesome; however the $700 price tag is a bit steep for my budget. I think I am looking for something in the "around $300 " range...

thanks tsunami for the suggestion! :)
