  2. Waiting for hours in the snow to pay green rush prices while it's been legal to grow and readily available for a year?

...Well, maybe just once, just so's I could say I did it. :p

...Even if our stores still aren't open...:scowl:

Haha I would definitely do it just so I can say I did it. It would make a great story for your kids or grandkids...

IMO not a big deal here - but the tax revenue for schools will be sweet!

I stood in line for almost 2 hours, part of a happy crowd that wanted to be part of a historical event. It was kind of fun!

Yes, but what about the uncontrolled violent behavior and sexual deviancy it will cause? Damn reefer addicts.

I'm gonna go have some whiskey and tobacco like a good American. Those products never killed anyone.

(Heavy sarcasm implied, I don't like emoticons).
  8. According to the government you are going to rape, murder and steal if you smoke the reefer. It looks like the people of Colorado are doomed.'s Reefer Madness!

Sexual deviancy, you say? Time to look into moving. How's the housing market out there?

I never thought I'd live to see the day. Okay Colorado, the rest of the country is watching. Don't mess this up! :D

Excellent point. I've always thought it was bad public policy to parole some armed robber so that his cell space could be given to some stoner who sold his "friend" a little weed.

I started smoking cannabis for the sole purpose of explaining my sexual deviancy.

I saw it coming a long time ago. Im more surprised it hasnt been legalized for recreational use in more states, but Im sure thats coming soon.

I no longer live in Colorado, nor do I smoke anything.

I guess I'm on the wrong side of history again.

You know, the federal government's role in this situation is very interesting. Something akin to nullification by simply ignoring reality.

Im wondering to what extent the federal government will actually ignore this.
I do believe the attitude towards recreational marijuana use is lightening up (excuse the pun), and it may not be long before, perhaps a decade, before mj is reclassified and/or decriminalized on a large scale.

Nothing is more addictive than additional tax revenue.
