I'm buying a J/MM set to go in my Brubaker Brute SC. I'm going to run these with a Bart preamp. Judging from the demo on youtube with the Lakland I'd say it's an investment in my sound. I don't mind going down the road less travelled. At one point Barts, Nordys, etc were in the same position. New Kids on the block.
