Mayer Killers???? That just sounds like crazy talk!

I presume you actually heard and loved these things before you bought them?

I operate a Meyer cabinet recycling center -- you can just drop them off, no charge for the service, and be on your way knowing you did the right thing! :D

Are you going to upgrade your power cables too?

They must be awesome for you to give up the beloved Meyers. I look forward to a review. Or, hey, I'm in San Benancio, just turn it up!

The OP kicked off a poopstorm a few years ago by posting about how much esoteric, expensive power cables (Tara Labs, I think) normally aimed at audiophiles improved his sound. My comment was intended to be a light reference to that. It was long before you joined TB so you wouldn't have any knowledge of it which is why your comment irritated me. I'll cop to being a smartass, but I'm hardly uninformed. :)

My FAVE clean tone has been only through Meyer cabs.. Played though Claire Bro cabs too for quite a while... The Meyers always left an impression... Just different flavors of greatness..

Nice rig! I met you 12 years ago at the Monterey store....I can actually play now lol.

Diy'ers can make cabs with very similar technology if they have the know how. Radian just released their line of beryllium compression drivers with the same diaphrams a few months ago.
