SOLD Rickenbacker 4001 Fireglo 1976

  1. Rickenbacker 4001 in Fireglo. Made in April of 1976. This bass plays excellent and of course sounds great....like a Rick. It has dings and scratches as you would expect for a bass of this vintage, but is still in great shape as you can see in the detailed pics. Of note, there is a buckle rash chip on the back about the size of a quarter and a screw hole for a strap button on the lower horn - both shown in pics. The stuff that looks like water drops on the back of the upper horn pics is just water. Comes with original hardshell case that's missing two of the 4 little feet on the bottom.   6. Primarily looking for cash right now but a jazz style five string I may go for. I have plenty but I'm a sucker for them and might bite on something special.
