Rickenbacker 4001v63 for sale, preferably Europe, I'll look into US shipping (or elsewhere) if there's any interest.
2001, some tailpiece lift, otherwise in very good condition. Original silver case, case candy. No mods, completely original.
    I need $2600 = EURO 1900. No trades, sorry.

I really can't compare it to a '70s 4001, but from what I've read these late v63s haven't the thinnest necks around.

I would say then it is like holding a baseball bat in your hand?

Again, I really do not know, I don't play baseball.. I'll give you the measures if you like. All I can say is that it has, according to the RIC expertise, a meatier neck than earlier v63s.
It feels more like a '50s Fender P than a Jazz, if that's of any help.
