I have tried finding this information around the net and can't seem to find it. Can anyone measure their 4003's pickup and provide the measurements? Preferably in mm but I will take whatever you give me :)

If nobody has responded to this by tonight (and if I can remember to do it) I'll post the measurements when I get off work.

My measurements are slightly problematic, as I removed the pickup cover on the bridge pickup and it's somewhere in the mess of my house. I can accurately give you the widths, and somewhat give you the "heights" (direction from headstock to bridge).

    Width of mounting holes:
    3.25" or 82mm
Width from outer poles, center to center:
    1.8" or 46mm

I measured the gap left from the pickup cover, and it measures:
    1.5" or 38mm

I also measured the height of the neck pickup, which is nestled under the pickguard, and it reads:
    1.11" or 28mm

    Hope this helps.

If I find the bridge pickup cover, I'll let you know.

Thanks man. I just found these off of SD's website for their aftermarket pickups which I believe would be to Rickenbacker size specs?

The outer poles are the same distance for both the neck and bridge? Would you say that both pickups are identical in size, probably wound differently?

Hate to be a pain and appreciate your help, but what is the distance between the poles of the bridge and neck pickup?
