Rickenbacker 4003fl "DISCONTINUED"

    Okay I looked on Talkbass for a thread on this but didn't find one, so here it goes.
    So for the longest time Rickenbacker stopped producing the 4003fl so they could catch up on there backlog situation, OKAY that's understandable, so Rickenbacker thru out the past few years was giving subtle hints that maybe as soon as they where caught up on there backlog they would reintroduce the 4003fl.
    Well I was looking at there website today and low and behold there it was the words that I was hoping would never come up on the 4003fl "DISCONTINUED", yep they discontinued the 4003fl, I am so bummed that Rickenbacker is not going to produce this AWESOME instrument anymore.
    I just don't get it, didn't they finally get caught up, I mean they discontinued there 5 string bass and now the 4003fl.
    As far as I'm concerned it's a SAD day.

    I never knew Rickenbacker made fretless basses, but that clip is way too sexy.
