Well, I've tried 6 string 3 times, twice with this bass. It just isn't for me. I had this bass built for me 2 years ago. It has an amazing top. Thicker than many of their "veneer" tops. Honestly, the quilt maple top and wedge board are custom level. I have a few pics.

Thanks, Doug. It's an amazing bass - just not for me. I thought it was meant to be mine as this is the 2nd time I've owned it, but it isn't. It's someone else's bass. I'm just holding it for now.

Love the black hardware with the dark Wenge board and black pickups. Really looks clean with the gorgeous quilt.

I owned this bass for a while. It plays looks and sounds incredible. Signature quality wood on a plus. This one plays effortlessly with a wide range of sounds. It was also my very first acquisition on Talkbass. Great seller here.

Not really looking to trade. I need cash to fund my next Roscoe. I might consider a Roscoe 5 string for a trade.

OK, I'll join the sub $2,000 club. $1,900 but that is the bottom line. I'll suffer and keep it before I give it away.

Our home scale doesn't work any more. It's a little heavier than my 5 string that's just under 8 pounds. I'm guessing 9 or so, maybe 9.5.
