First off, I love this bass. The sound, playability and craftsmanship are out of this world. The neck pocket itself is a thing of beauty. It is Olympic White, but has a creamy goodness that is utterly stunning and looks like a piece of candy. It is very creamy in person and difficult to capture on camera.

The reason that I am selling it is I am a lifetime arthritis sufferer and it has recently gotten into my hands. A beefier neck suits me better. I double on upright and am used to more wood under my hands. I have recently become an endorsing artist for Mike Lull and he is building me basses that better suit my situation. He is an awesome brother and friend.

There is a bit of pedigree with this bass if you are into that sort of thing. The one and only tour that I used this on was with Wanda Jackson and Adele in 2011. We played a lot of the major West Coast venues including Vancouver, BC, Las Vegas and both Greek Theaters in California. That tour won a Grammy.

Flaws: There is only one to speak of. It is a tiny little ding on the back of the neck and is barely noticeable, otherwise, it is in near perfect condition. The fretwork is outstanding and action can get as low as you want it. The bass weighs 9 lbs on the nose. I am the original owner of the bass and am asking $1850 with Sadowsky ultralight case and all the goodies.

    Thanks,
    Jeff

What is the fretboard wood? I thought the M in the model indicates maple but the board looks pretty dark, especially in the first photo.

These basses are the best! Great sound (kind of hi-fi old school if that makes sense) and playability. GLWTS.

You can always try to water it. This is a really clean one, ladies and germs. It can sound modern, mellow, or like a warthog on a rampage.
