scratchy pots on 64 fender jazz

    The pots are original, I've heard by spraying a contact cleaner in them such a De-Oxit will get rid of the shorting out and scratchy sound when turning them. Problem is I don't know where to apply the cleaner. Any helpful tips and possibly some pics? Thanks, Jim

    See that hole under the three tabs?
    Deoxit goes there. A shot or two and rotate the pot 20+ times thru its weep and then let it dry for 15 minutes or so
