Selling a number of my basses to downsize the collection!

    1) Relist: Carvin Bunny Brunel 5-string

Late 90's BB75. Great playing bass that has been customized, played and gigged

    34" scale, 19mm bridge spacing, 1.75- inch nut, 8 lbs, 13 oz

Wood: Maple neck with swamp ash (I think) wings and curly maple top and matching headstock. Ebony fingerboard with dark stickers currently covering the offset dots (easily removed)

Electronics: Dual humbuckers from a Fernandes Tremor. I wrapped some red vinyl tape around the pickups because I'm not a fan of exposed pole pieces. Single toggle to switch both pickups from humbucker to single coil mode (outside coils, hum cancelling when pan is centered). Stock Carvin Preamp - vol (pull for passive), pan, bass, mid, tre, 9 volts.

The sound in humbucker mode is huge. The slanted neck pickup makes for a pretty convincing P-bass sound. 7.5 out of 10 condition, plenty of small dings and bumps. Routing around the humbuckers is a not as clean as I would have liked but not noticeable from a few feet away.

$450 (or $600 with SGD Neo humbuckers installed) Shipped in CONUS with a gig bag. SOLD

    2) Brubaker Brute MJX-5

    34" scale, 19mm bridge spacing, 1.75- inch nut, 9 lbs, 3 oz

Electronics: Stock pickups, stock preamp with an upgraded volume pot with push/pull to bypass the preamp.

Changed the hardware to all back including strap lock buttons. 8 out of 10 condition for minor nicks and scratches on mostly on the back of the the body

$425 Shipped o.b.o in CONUS with a nice Brubaker gig bag. SOLD

Update on the Carvin BB75: I originally had a pair of SGD M5 Neo pickups installed in this bass. After sending them back to SGD for testing over a year ago (!), I finally got them back. If the currently installed pickups are not your thing, I'll install the SGD Neo humbuckers for an extra $150.

Here's an older picture to give you an idea of what it looks like with the SGD pickups installed.

Thanks for the offer! I'm pretty happy with my current amp so I'm just looking for a sale at this time.
