Just to register that I custom ordered 7 months ago a set of SGD bass pus. I made a 50% deposit and they agreed to delivery it in one month ! I sent thousand of emails to them and they just answered :

It's a custom set, so I need more time .

My God ! It was part of the agreement to delivery the PUs in one month ! And now, even a refund or estimated delivery date I have !

    I think this is a fraud !

I'm not involved in this fiasco but as an observer , the sad irony is that I 've not heard one person that actually has them complain about the price , quality or tone of these pickups .

Nobody has ever stated that David doesn't know how to make a killer pickup. He just doesn't know how to deliver them after he takes payment.

it makes me kinda sick to think about, because dave S was a real asset here on TB, i learned a lot from his posts about electronics and pickups and stuff.

He knows how, just chooses not to. (For whatever reasons.)

David was a valuable member, indeed. It's a shame to see this happen.

I don't care how valuable of member he was, he is presently a thief who has ripped off many members on this website.

I agree with you ! This situation is unbelievable ! I payed U$ 150.00 (50%) in Jan 2013 for a set of Bass Humbuckers and he just do not finish it ! I do not care if he is an electronics wizard or a good teacher ! I do not want to learn with him, I want my money back !

Yeah, I followed but didn't post in many of the SGD forums because I never placed an order and didn't feel the need to add fuel to the fire, but his lack of guilt is what shocked me the most.

I understand he got into financial issues and couldn't afford to churn out past orders, but it seemed to get to the point where once a new order came in, he would just ship out the orders he could afford to do, and favouring the newer ones to try to keep new clients, but had little of an obligation to himself to right the wrongs of his past.

Clearly running a business is not his fortay. I think if I were to stuck in that position I would have sold everything I could have, gotten loans, or would have worked my ass of at any job I could to pay my bills and dish out refunds until I could rebuild the business... It's a sad tale for everyone involved.

The 1st thing is to stop to accept new orders that he can't delivery ! And this is a thing that he isn't doing !

Agreed. Why not just post all of this in the sticky? That's what it's there for.
