I've got a jones for a really flashy P-Bass. If you have one or have any photos please post em! I'm particularly interested in metalflake/sparkle!

This is probably the oldest one of them all (1957 Edgar Willis Fender P Bass). It looks amazing

It's not a P bass, but it is a custom copper flake.

I don't have GAS really, I have everything that I need.

    But...

If I ever can afford a sparkly P-bass, I'd love to have one.

Ideally I'd love to pickup another 60th Anniversary P and have Marty Bell put a metal flake finish in "Steeler yellow". With the black pick guard it would be the perfect Pittsburgh bass.

It's funny you mention that. Marty did Chloe, and eventually I might ask him to do my 60th Anniversary in gold flake. I think it would look amazing.

I once went to Rudy's in NYC on 48th St. (probably in '08 or '09) and saw a red sparkle '64 P bass (the finish was supposedly original). It was beautiful, and it played and sounded like a dream to boot.:crying:
