    Hi Janek,

Took a Skype lesson with you a while back and had a question for you as a teacher. What challenges did teaching over skype present to you and if so any improvements you can think of that would make it a better experience for both teacher and student?

    Best,

    Robin Betton

    Hi Robin,

I think the biggest challenge I faced with teaching via Skype was scheduling. My schedule was so all over the place that I wasn't a reliable educational source for someone who wanted to study on a regular basis.

That's why videobasslessons.tv came about and has changed the way I communicate with people and educate students. Setting a weekly schedule to shoot one video lesson and enabling 100's of people to learn from the one video at once has been a really streamlining venture for me.

Do you still offer Skype lessons to those that don't require regular scheduled lessons?

I'm afraid not. And for less than the price of one Skype lesson ($150) you could become a member of videobasslessons.tv for half a year....

    http://members.videobasslessons.tv/become-a-member/

It's better value, more content, and a far easier way to navigate through the learning process, and that's why I no longer teach privately and haven't for several years.

    Thanks,

    Janek
