I'll be the first to admit that it's fun to poke and jab at the rest of the country about the weather. Hell...even this thread might come off as a thinly veiled jab but believe me when I say it's not. It's currently 84F in the suburbs of Smell A and tomorrow's forecast calls for 88F. The coldest it's gotten this season was 41F on December 9...ridiculous!

Am I the only SoCaler that's finding the awesome weather kind of annoying? I have a super cool bomber jacket and pea coat that sit unused. I'm worried that if it doesn't cool down soon, we'll slip straight into springtime, completely bypassing winter.

Awesome weather? Wait until the water runs out. We're getting worried about drought even up here in NorCal.

It got down to 31F one night last month in my town. I had good cause to bust out the Bane jacket.

I've heard that the only snow in Mammoth is man made. That'd make for an awesome early hiking season in the Sierra but yeah...bad for snow melt.

No sir, I don't like it. It's been hot, dry and uncomfortable. I could barely even sleep last night

I wish it were. I'm right in the path of the Santa Ana winds at the moment.

I play a lot of golf, and living in San Diego, I am lucky to play year-round. I actually look forward to the cool weather during the winter, because I can break out pants, wear black, stuff that would be a bad idea in the dead of summer. However, this year I find myself looking for shade on the course, rocking my light colors, etc.

I know, what a problem to have...

Way too hot for me. That's well into the uncomfortably hot. I prefer cooler by far... keep it under 70 and I'm happy. 55-60 and I'm very happy. Down to about 20 and I'm comfortable in a light jacket. Which is why I don't live there, or anywhere near that crap!

I will enjoy the pleasant weather while it lasts, unseasonable as it is. Hopefully things will correct themselves soon.

I got an early start on my garden. I tilled a large portion of my backyard last weekend and got all kinds of new veggies growing.

I have been trying to improve my beach volleyball game. Nothing seems quite as morbidly nonchalant as seaside relaxation during the throes of a climate change inflicted permanent summer.

Aren't you afraid that winter will kick in, killing you plants?

Not really. My pepper plants are still producing. I pruned up my tomato plant and its still budding. My rose bushes are already growing back.
We planted onions and potatoes, celery, peas, asparagus.

I dont think its going to end up getting too cold.

More postmodern ironic detachment, but to the casual viewer the sight is indistinguishable.

Yes. I enjoy the weather. I've been surfing, mountain biking, and golfing. However, I'm very concerned about our severe lack of rainfall though. We're heading for a severe drought. Not good.
