Do any of you perform out by yourself or with a guitarist and use Midi to have a back-up band?

I'm curious what I would need if I did not want to use my computer to run Midi to run a drum machine and a keyboard for songs.

Make it easy on yourself. Use MIDI to generate your backing tracks and burn them onto a CD or SD card.

I have a midi controller/laptop setup at home. Never leaves the house. What I do is put the "backing track" on my digitech jamman. For my hard rock band I use the same technique for keyboard parts an sound effects. I use the jamman as a sampler. NOT a looper so mine isn't connected to my bass rig at all. I run the jamman to a cheap DI then to the PA.
