Wow!! I somehow stumbled across a long forgotten MySpace page that my friends and I put up to share some rough mixes. We wrote these songs in high school and recorded them at our drummers parents house when he came home from college one summer. He went to MTSU to be an audio engineer so they actually sound decent.

I'm just blown away by the tunes!! It's been so long since I've listened to them. And considering that I had only been playing for a little over a year when two of the songs were written, I think I did a pretty good job!! Haha. Anyway, I wanted to share with you guys because he did a great job on the bass tones. And between the guys in the band and a few good friends, no one's ever heard them!

You can definitely tell who our influences were. We listened to King Crimson A LOT, Dream Theater, Tool, At The Drive In, Meshuggah, and a ton of others on the "Prog" side. Check out Song 3 and Scrutiny. And don't worry!! The songs aren't really 7-8 minutes long. There's some random noise stuff at the end of one of the tunes.

Let me know what you think!!
