Hey everyone! Not sure if this is the right section of the forum for this, but I'll give it a shot.

I ordered a Darkglass b3k a few weeks ago and it's finally here. I love the thing right out of the box, and I already have a few favorite settings for different tones. I've been messing around with full drive and full blend for about an hour now and it sounds amazing with heavier stuff such as Blow Your Trumpets Gabriel by Behemoth. What are some not ridiculously hard songs that would be fun to play with monster distortion?

    Thanks! :bassist:

Ace of Spades or any Motorhead
  4. Mastodon comes to mind. Lots of dirty basslines, riffs and general heaviness. My favourites to play along to are Blood & Thunder, Divinations, Curl of the Burl and Mother Puncher.

+1, there's really so much by Muse that would fit here.

There are some GREAT lessons in simple and tasteful, yet prominent, basslines on that album!

I'm not really a big fan of the recent Muse albums but they use distortion/fuzz quite well.

Hyper Music, New Born, Plug In Baby, Hysteria, Stockholm Syndrome, Uprising, etc.

Absolutely. A clinic in restraint while still standing out.
