Sounds like a MusicMan Sabre in an EMG40 shell?

My title pretty much describes what I'm after. I've got a 5-string that I've had in various forms for MANY years, but I've never been quite happy with the pickups I've had in it. I really love the MusicMan sound in general, and I'd like to get more of a MM Sabre sound in a 5-string. I'd rather not reroute again (though I did route for the soapbars).

I guess if it came down to it, I could reroute for a couple of Nordstrand MM5.4 pickups and just go with it. But what else is in that ballpark?

Sabres don't have the usual MM pickups, their pickups have 3/4" spacing, like most humbuckers. You should be able to find something like what you want, if not you could get a custom winder to make you a set of Sabre pickups in EMG shells.
